The Project
German company of technological innovation in the automotive sector, experts in installing autonomous driving software in prototypes of various vehicle manufacturers.
It was looking for a location close to the road junction in Barcelona and with good connections to public transport in order to make it easier for its employees to attract the best talent.
In terms of the asset, they were looking for a refurbished industrial type building with great interior finishes. At the same time, the offices and infrastructure had to have all the best online connectivity specifications for the software programmes used.
For this project, there was a time window of 4 months to find a suitable asset and the signing of the lease contract.
The result:
After a detailed study of the availability of this type of asset on the A-2 axis, and contact with several potential owners, several visits were scheduled with those responsible for the expansion project in Spain.
Once the possibilities had been filtered and after several active property prospecting trips, a warehouse with the optimum characteristics was identified. Certain private works were carried out for the correct performance of its activity and after a few months of implementation, the expansion project was a complete success, achieving synergies between its own workers in Germany and qualified staff hired in Spain.
The whole project was executed on time and with great feedback from Proequity and the parties involved.
