Newdock Gavilanes

Newdock is finalising the construction of its new logistics platform in Getafe. 

 

  • It is a project of more than 9,400 square metres located in the Gavilanes industrial estate, Getafe, which will be destined for a single tenant. 

  • The platform will be available before the end of the year. It also aspires to obtain the LEED® Platinum benchmark sustainability certificate.

Madrid, November 21, 2023. The asset, owned by Newdock, a company specialising in logistics management and investment, will be available to the market before the end of the year. The project is being marketed on a co-exclusive basis by the consultancy firms Proequity and JLL.

The project consists of a plot of more than 16,000sqm of which 9,427sqm corresponds to a building dedicated to logistics activity. This platform consists of 8,503sqm of warehouse space and 924sqm of office space.

The asset will have nine loading bays and an access ramp, a 35-metre manoeuvring area and a clear height of 11.50 metres. In addition, the facilities already meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency, as it is a logistics project at the forefront of sustainability, safety and welfare. Newdock Gavilanes is aiming for LEED® Platinum sustainability certification, recognised as the leading standard for energy-efficient buildings.

The plot has an excellent location. Situated in the Madrid municipality of Getafe, it has direct access to the M50, M-45 and A-4, the main roads in the area that connect the platform with the centre of Madrid in 15 minutes. It is also only 26 kilometres from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport.
