It also aspires to obtain the LEED\u00ae Platinum benchmark sustainability certificate.<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Madrid, November 21, 2023.\u00a0<\/strong>The asset, owned by Newdock, a company specialising in logistics management and investment, will be available to the market before the end of the year. The project is being marketed on a co-exclusive basis by the consultancy firms Proequity and JLL.<\/p><p>The project consists of a plot of more than 16,000sqm of which 9,427sqm corresponds to a building dedicated to logistics activity. This platform consists of 8,503sqm of warehouse space and 924sqm of office space.<\/p><p>The asset will have nine loading bays and an access ramp, a 35-metre manoeuvring area and a clear height of 11.50 metres. In addition, the facilities already meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency, as it is a logistics project at the forefront of sustainability, safety and welfare. Newdock Gavilanes is aiming for LEED<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Platinum sustainability certification, recognised as the leading standard for energy-efficient buildings.<\/p><p>The plot has an excellent location. Situated in the Madrid municipality of Getafe, it has direct access to the M50, M-45 and A-4, the main roads in the area that connect the platform with the centre of Madrid in 15 minutes. It is also only 26 kilometres from Adolfo Su\u00e1rez Madrid-Barajas airport.\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Roberto Fern\u00e1ndez, Head of Industrial &amp; Logistic Leasing of Proequity, <\/strong><em>\"The excellent connections with the centre of Madrid and the main transport routes make this project a great opportunity for operators wishing to expand their logistics services in a location close to the capital, it will undoubtedly be a reference point for logistics activity in the area surrounding the capital\". <\/em><\/p><p><em>\u00a0<\/em><strong>Adriana Gorri, Head of Markets of JLL Spain, <\/strong>underlines:<em>\"The location of the platform is excellent: large companies such as Decathlon, Amazon, Mercadona, Carrefour or ADER are already present here\"<\/em>She also points out that<em>\"the construction qualities of Newdock are above average due to the disruptive design of the warehouses and offices designed for the well-being and comfort of workers.
